Impromptu FHE

Stupid me forgot my camera! Monday nights at our house are looked forward to by everyone in our family. It is really fun for Jason and I to watch Carter and Keaton's excitement over scripture stories and talking time with mom and dad. Today Jason had a student solo later in the afternoon. So me and the boys went up to the airport towards the end of the lesson and met Jason up there. After the student left we hopped in my Dad's plane. First Carter and Jason got in, and then it was Keaton's turn. He was waiting to get in and he was going crazy! He wanted to get in the airplane so much quicker than what was going on. Jason had given both boys "airplane flashlights" and we were loaded up ready to go! The boys were thrilled to take an airplane ride, even if it was just taxing up and down the airport. Since there is rarely any traffic we pretty much had the airport to ourselves and Carter was able to turn on the airport runway lights from the airplane. It looked really neat because it was so dark out there. Of course Carter wanted to take off, but I kept us on the ground due to my anxiety about having our whole family in a single plane. When taxied back to the hanger put the plane away and loaded up to go out to dinner. On the way out Carter started talking about his walky-talky he got today. Instead of saying "walky-talky" he said, "hockey-walky" and "walky-dockey!" It was so funny! We took the boys to dinner and Keaton ended up eating chocolate cake and all of Jason's steak, plus all of his pot roast. He is definitely a meat eater! He turned smurf blue from eating blue M&Ms for dessert. After we demolished the Golden Corral we headed home for bed. What a fun night!
