Puppies! SugarBabies...

This is our second batch of puppies. Since the first batch was lets just say not pure bred and I could of shot a dog or two, we made sure that Sugar was bred with another pure blue heeler. She had two females and three males and they are really cute! This batch we will sell instead of giving away. Sugar makes a great mom.

Jason likes to tease Sugar and take a puppy out of the box and she follows him and watches him very closely. Then he will put it down and leave it and she will pick it right up and take it back to her "nest." The boys really like the puppies and I occasionally find Carter in the box with them. I think Sugar wants a break and go back to the farm, today she jumped into the back of Jason's truck....

Bowling.

So Jason agreed to take me on a date last night. But we ended up going out as a family bowling. It was a last minute decision that ended up being fun. Carter kinda had the idea of how to play, but thought that you bowled at the church or Grandma Wendy's house. We got there and the boys stood at the top of the steps staring down at the lanes below watching. Once we paid for our lane and shoes we were off! Keaton couldn't wait his turn and had already dropped a ball on the ground before we even got started. Jason ended up having to help lift the ball for each of the boys and help them push it down the lane. Keaton wanted to do it every time and not have to wait, his grin was from ear to ear, but he would scream while he had to wait for his turn. We had to put the rails up on the lane, it helped my score up quite a bit and Jason's too, though he wouldn't admit it. The bowling alley was filled with teeny boppers and we were smack dab in the middle of them. I was amazed to see how young these kids were and not having some kind of adult supervision. There was one girl there in particular she had to be eleven or twelve, too young in my book to be hanging out on a Friday night. She had this boyfriend too with her too. Me and Jason noticed that she seemed way too young to have a boy and be hanging all over each other. I told Jason if I found any of my girls hanging on boys like that, especially that young, I would immediately send them to an all girls finishing school in Switzerland! I didn't care how much it cost! Where was her mother?! We wonder why are youth are seeming to make bad choices. I think that most of the parents out there are not accepting the responsibilities of parenthood and being a parent and not a friend. That was my little soapbox for the day. We all really had a great time and the boys were tuckered out by the time we got home later that night.

Lover Boy...

I watched my friend's little girl Kiersten for the day on Thursday. She is just younger than Carter, so they play really well together. Towards the end of the day I put in Monsters v.s. Aliens and they were watching it for quiet time. It got to an intense part of the movie when Kiersten says,"This is a scary movie." Carter quips up and says, "It's okay you can hold on to me." I was just in the hallway peeking in on them and caught it and had a chuckle. So Kiersten's mom came and picked her up and after they left Carter tells me, "Mom when I get bigger like Dad I am going to marry her." I giggled and all I could get out was, "Oh, okay." This is the same little girl he danced with at aerobics one morning, she was dressed in her fairy costume and he told her she was a princess and held her hand and danced with her. So that brings us to tonight, we took the boys out for pizza and on the way home Carter started asking about going on dates. "Mom, I want to go out on a date with you." Jason says,"You can't, only I can go on dates with Mom." I told Carter,"We go on outings together and have a good time. You take girls that you like and think are cute on dates." Which Carter so suavely replied, "Mom, I think you're cute and pretty too. I like you." Well gosh darn it how can you resist a kid like that. We also had a discussion that he had to wait until he was 16 to go on dates. He didn't understand why and why we he had to take girls on dates and not Mom too. I told him it was to get to know nice girls better and treat them really good. Something inside me, call it a mother's intuition, tells me that Carter is not going to have a hard time at all finding girls to chase him with his sweet words and friendly personality, plus he is a big tease!

My Boys....

I can't seem to figure out my boys sleeping positions. Last night I walked in to check on the boys and found Carter scrunched up into a ball inside his t-shirt. Keaton on the other hand sprawled out in all directions was the exact opposite. But I have found Keaton sleeping on the couch sitting up with one of his Dad's shirts pulled over his head. My boys are so weird. Then the other day I found all three boys piled into one chair watching cartoons, we have a perfectly nice couch just inches away but I guess it would take away from the whole watching cartoons with Dad experience if everyone had there own spot. Silly boys.
