Big Muscles!

Last night we were eating dinner and Carter started talking how he was going to eat his dinner and get big muscles. He said "Big Grandma has big muscles." Jason said, "Really?" Carter ended it with a bang..."Yeah but they are really floppy." So funny!

Oh Dear!

So I am not the only one in the family who is a big bean head. Last Saturday Jason decided to burn weeds at the pond. Well he started it even though it was a bit windy. So those dry reeds really burn fast! So it was getting to hot and smokey for me and the kids to we took off and hiked down to the barn area. Pretty soon I see alot of black smoke and hear a sound like a big shot gun going off and then a smaller pop. Oh and we now know how much Katie likes Jason because she was more worried about him than I was and kept on saying "what a loser...I am going to go check on him." Well I told her to stay there and I hiked to a hill up above the pond that was the opposite direction that the wind was blowing to check things out. He had to move our new car in a hurry to keep it from getting caught on fire and that fire was spreading so fast! I couldn't even see Jason, so I decided to head back because the fire was spreading my direction now. He got back to the barn before I did in our now smokey new car. He was pretty upset with the whole situation because he had to drop his lighter and propane tank and lighter and run, hence the explosions. It ended up burning a boat, a wood bench, some hoses, and a few other things. His water quit him will he was burning and the back of his arm was toasted. We packed up our Saturday adventure and headed home, I don't even have any pics to show. I thought he had learned his lesson, but on Wednesday, an even windier day, he decided to burn some weeds around a hay field, I won't tell you how that turned out....I could smell smoke from our house. Last night, my love of a husband, went to go play church basketball after pulling his hamstring and his lower back at the previous game. Well he jumped down from grabbing the ball and landed in swat an ripped his pants and every one there saw and heard! He said he still played the rest of the game as the comic relief. I got a good laugh when he came home and told me. That is my husband in a nutshell, next time I will post an embarassing story about me. But this week I am glad it isn't me.

Sugar Baby

Keaton always finishes Carter's food for him. Unfortunately for me it involved alot of powdered sugar. It was everywhere! The floor, chair, table, footprints and handprints in random places, and Keaton was covered head to toe in it. This is my Sugar Baby.
My Kuger Bings.

Random, random, random.

We went to Joseph City yesterday and came back this afternoon. Being in the car with a 16month old, a 4 year old, and a 13 year old is bound to do anyone in. Bless Katie's heart, she did a pretty good job entertaining the boys in the back, and Jason did pretty well trying to entertain me. This time the youngest lasted longer than the mother. Jeeze! My attention span for car trips is about an hour and then I am done. Some of the things I thought about when I was locked inside a moving vehicle.
-How do you add on a basement?
-Where in the heck did my 4 year old get a piece of gum? I am not picking it out of the carpet!
-Grandma apparently does not like hooker heels, she dosen't think she could drive in them.
-Do you think the hitchiker would like some of our ice water?
-It's a cruel joke to be poochie in the car and with the windows on lock, but pretty funny.
-Any minute I am expecting indian feathers to be poppin up behind bushes and hills out here on the res., the theme music from the "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" dosen't help in this train of thought. Why did Katie put in the request for this music anyhow? Why did the car DJ listen?
-Could we sell advertising space on our cow on ebay for large amounts of money? How would a cow look with a tattoo, is their body a temple too?
-We all advoid family situations differently, I space out, others clean, some go to another room, somone else diverts attention to other people. Why is it so painful to go to family gatherings.
-This is a terrible way to get out of teaching a primary lesson. Four hours both ways in a car with kids.
-Jason wants to sleep in an old bunk house? Well, I'll take the big posh ranch house up a ways and he can just rough it.
-Don't the indians who sell pinions on the side of the road shell the nuts in their mouths? Who said they pick the nuts out of owl poopie?
- Who would want to go to the Apache Gold Casino? I don't understand. Price is right $59 for a room and a dinner...Hmmm I think I'll spend all my money on the res. sounds like a great time to me, the location is amazing....
-Please don't serenade me to the song "The Keeper of the Stars." Makes me start twitching.
-Out of all of us, why do I get carsick before we even get past Geronimo?

More Randoms

-I organized my pantry shelves, planted grandma a small garden, worked out, bought twelve boxes of cereal, crackled two shelves, and took inventory of my beauty supplies, but I never did get to the dishes or the rest of the house. I think the last batch of laundry has sat on the coffee table for about a week and I am averaging doing the dishes every other day...not enough hours in the day I suppose, maybe that's by design...to say sometime you need to close your eyes for a few minutes.
-Advertisements are definantly geared towards kids, first five minutes of watching cartoons Carter comes in and yells at me, "I want hungry nipples!" Without even taking a breath, "They eat all the marbles and then you win, and you are so happy!" I think he was meaning the Hungry Hippos game.
-Don't give a bat to a toddler while their mom is trying to get their pajamas on.
-It took me 5 weeks to loose 3 pounds, lots of cadio, no white flour, no sugar, and no packaged food. Before kids I could sneeze and lose a pound, break up with a boyfriend and lose 10. Of all the frustration!!
-I haven't done my homework for like 3 months now, I could be done with the whole program by now if I would just get with it. Ugh. Can't I just read and not have to do any dumb papers.
- I miss my camera. I am a little attached.

Much Better

I'm much better today. I took all my anxiety and nervous tension out in an hour of cardio at the gym. I feel much better! I dropped the boys off at Big Gramma's house and just went to the gym. I decided yesterday was just one of those bad days we all get every once in a while that I got a couple of days in a row. Carter is very smart and his brain goes a million miles a minute and I need to learn how to keep up. He constantly needs something to do, so if my house is trashed at least I am trying to keep the boys occupied. Just a side note, to tell you all how crazy I was yesterday, I put all my living room furniture on trades and sales even down to the T.V. and rug! Immediatley after a sent the email, I felt really remorsefull! Oh what have I done kinda moment. I had a few calls. A hispanic guy wanted my T.V. but he called later and said nevermind. Thank goodness! I need that T.V. for spongebob purposes! Thats the only way I get 5 minutes to take a shower. I do stupid things like this periodically when I get overly anxious. Like buy a puppy or two, sign up for college on line, and even buy a new car. The problem is I don't see it until after I have already made the mess. I am trying to teach Jason how to reign me in before I make huge mistakes like selling all my furniture!

My Glamorous Life.

Well today was not one of my finer days. The days preceding it were not so great either. Everything has been irritating me for about a week. Friday night I was one step away from just locking myself in my room and let the boys bang on the door and scream. Carter and I have been butting heads all week. Well this particular night he wouldn't stay in his bed. Lets just say swats didn't work here, and by the time 8:30 rolled around I had called Jason in tears and Carter was the cool, calm, collected one. I told him, "You better come home right now, before I call CPS on myself!" He told me, "I'll be home in 7 minutes, just ignore him." Well Carter decides to say now. "Mommy, you better listen to me I am tired of toopeating myself." Thanks son, I'll remember that the next time. Jason gets home and has a dad to son discussion and Carter goes straight to bed and goes to sleep!!!!! I was so angry, frustrated, and anything else that might apply. SO Saturday rolls around and he is not allowed to go outside while Dad is running the tractor, he goes outside anyway. I get the belt this time and decided to be consistent on my punishments. He gets one swat and learned his lesson...throw the belt out the back door then mom can't find it to swat me. He did that three times that day. Well that morning he came bustin in the door and locked it and said, "Now Bonnie can't get me, she was chasin' me, I lock her out." What did he do now? How do I appologize for whatever might of done that was cause that kind of an reaction, I don't think cookies will cover this one. Well, Sunday came around and I was talking to Bonnie and she said that the contractor working across the street called her and said Carter had come over to the house he was building to "help" well he sent him home but he didn't go home he went to the next house over that is under construction that dosen't have any walls just a floor and a hole for the basement entrance. One of the workers said he saw him go into the hole and come back out limping because he fell down the stairs! All the time I thought he had gone over to Carden's house to play, at least that was what he told me he was going to do. So Sunday night I was a mess thinking what a horrible mother I was for not knowing what my son is up to and how could I let him get hurt like that and not know. I seriously gave myself a kanker sore with my tummy in knots like that. Well then today happened, I was in tears by 2 this afternoon and it was just because of naughty boys. Keaton gave Carter a busted lip, Carter kept on escaping out the door Carter going one way and Keaton going another, Carter decided he wanted to play in my make-up, naps were non-exsistant today, and Sugar bit Carter on the foot which was a melt down in itself. Jason had another father and son talk and he couldn't see what the problem was because Carter was being just fine after that. So I decided I needed to get out and Jason would have to take me out on a date. Well on the way home Carter said, "I say O.K. daddy, and I don't get a swat." Your learning son but how about just not getting into trouble in the first place. So we are trying the time out this week, but I have a feeling that I might need time out more than he does.

Randoms of today.

So let it be known...I bought my Vita-mix 5200 super today!!!! This is exciting for me, I've only been waiting for over a year for one! Now I only won't be able to sleep for 7-10 business days! Watch out everything will be blendered into oblivion in a matter of seconds!
Carter told me today that watching T.V. and movies makes him stupid. I asked him where he learned that and he said from preschool. I might agree with him but sometimes I need 30 mins. of me time that it might just buy me. In addition, Carter learned the value of seat belts today... I tell him constantly to put his seat belt back on, now maybe he'll listen.

It's Broken!

I was making breakfast, Keaton and Carter like to "help" me cook. Well there is this particular kitchen stool that they always fight over. Carter was trying to squeaze Keaton off the top step. They were both screaming at each other when Keaton decided to end the fight. Keaton bit Carter on his arm! Carter got down. He came crying to me and I quickly got Keaton off of the stool and put it away. Now they were both crying. Carter said his arm was broken. I think he cried for half an hour. Mom wasn't showing enough sympathy I guess so he was crying, "I want my Grama Grippets!" He said his arm was so broken that he needed a cast like Big Grandma. So I got his blankie and made it into a sling, and he left the house to go play in his new sling. He has had a sling on his arm off and on for the last couple of days and he even said his leg was broken but I don't know how to put that in a sling too.
