Saturday we went to the farm to cut wood and just hang out.
Our poor doggie, she gets carsick every time she sets a paw in a moving vehicle. But she had a great time at the farm and got into an ant bed.
Jason taught Katie how to drink out of the pump for the irrigation ditches by making a drinking fountain with your hand, she thought she was hot stuff. What a dork! (That is a term of endearment at our house in case you were wondering.)
At the end of the trip they went wading in the ditch to cool off. They had alot of fun.

Sounds like fun! Thanks for the advice. I don't think you are kookie...I actually do the same thing!!! My mom told me about it a long long time ago and in the moment of need, I remembered the vicks on the feet thing! Good advice!
I had a dog that was very prone to carsickness, and you know what a vet advised me to do? She said that about 20 minutes before you leave, give the dog a childrens chewable dramamine tablet. It worked wonders for my shepherd, and believe me, after an explorer full of dog vomit, you will try anything! In your case, since she is so little, you might want to try 1/2 tablets at first to get her used to it.
