Describe your first apartment as a young couple.

We lived in Farmington New Mexico, "The Land of Entrapment." Basically we lived in the G to the Hetto, due to economical restraints. Nothing fancy but, cozy young blossoming love, only to find death scratched into the bathroom wall and finding out it was the exact apartment of a double homicide due to a love triangle. No Joke! That would have been nice to find out before we signed the rental agreement. We found out about it 3 months after we had moved in from the neighbor down stairs. We had frequent buzzing of the getto-birds (police helicopters), gang fights and shootings on the street in front of our bedroom window, flashing red and blue lights were my nightlights, and drunks often peed on our building. I frequently had Jason escort me to and from my car and did not stay at home alone at night. It had dark faux wood paneling on one wall and harvest gold appliances. Our land lady was a chimney but she was nice and was glad to have the apartment filled. One thing about it, it had a great closet, nice and roomy. We had an apartment laundry facility, no dishwasher, window air conditioning unit, and I wouldn't even open the door under the bathroom sink (the water heater was there), and a wooden toilet seat. The next apartment had a lady who lived downstairs that liked to run around naked outside, almost burned the apartment building down, and was drunk a 100% of the time. We defiantly stepped up every time we have moved. Now we have goats and donkeys for neighbors.
